Rammstein will receive the Ferdinand von Quast Medal from the City of Berlin on January 8th, for his renovation work in the Pankow district. The band has transformed a disused factory into offices, a warehouse to store its equipment and a shop, which will open in the future.
Not far away, Rammstein had participated in the construction of Black Box Music's warehouses, which manages the logistics of the band's tours. The project was the starting point for revitalizing the entire district, according to the German ministry of culture.
Christian "Flake" Lorenz will receive the award, accompanied by Stefan Mehnert, Rammstein's Business Manager.
